Elizabeth Lewis (Lulie) Riley
Elizabeth Lewis (Lulie) Riley was born on January 13, 1864. Rebecca Emerson said on several occasions that her mother was born in the Wicomico section of Gloucester; this is verified by the 1870 census which places the Riley family in the Abingdon district. Jack Oliver and Lulie Riley were married in 1880, when Jack was 47 and Lulie 16. The official record in the Marriage Register at Gloucester Courthouse is as follows:
1880–Husband–Thos. A. J. Oliver, 46, Parents: Morgan D. Oliver deMildred Brown
Wife — Elizabeth L. Riley, 17, Parents: John M. Riley Caroline Foster.
This is not the picture of Elizabeth L. Riley, it is the picture of my maternal Great Grandmother, Elnora Davis Riley, the sister of Elizabeth L. Riley. The other picture of Elizabeth Riley, previously shown with T A J Riley is correct.
